Is There Any Deal PML-N Has Not Made?

This strange denial caught my eye:
PML-N denies deal allowing Musharraf to escape

PML-N leader Ahsan dispelled the impression that resultant of the so-called great deal it would not hotly pursue the demand for registration of a case against Musharraf under serious offenses and trial.

He alleged that former President was only responsible for Lal Masjid Operation, bloodshed in NWFP, igniting the fire in Balochistan, ruthless killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti and hundreds of missing people.”

‘Dispel’ my arse! After screaming for months “Someone better sue Musharaf!”, Musharraf finally gets sued but guess what? They were the first to disown it (even though the case filed was by one of their own PML-N party leaders.) That this denial is just B.S. will become clear once you see the part about the Saudi intervention below.

I really will have to look back as to where the PML-N stood when Lal Masjid operation was going on, we all know they fully AND OFFICIALLY support “bloodshed in NWFP”, continuing to burn “fire in Balochistan”, which led to not only the “ruthless killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti” but many others since they got in bed with Zardari (No, don’t blame Mush for what is happening today, PML-N), and “hundreds of missing people” whose numbers continue to increase, thanks to PML-N support.

Regarding Mush’s prosecution, another deal about to be made (and one that will soon to be denied) is the one Nawaz will make with King Abdalla of Saudi Arabia. Remember Rehman Malik just met the King who then sent his own plane to bring Mushy to him and gave him ‘royal protocol’. And Rehman denied meeting Mush which means he did! Now Nawaz is scheduled to go see King Abdalla, his master, and you will see a softening of the stance by Nawaz or a whole lot more meaningless screaming as far as action against Mush is concerned. (Any wonder then that it is now Mush who is taunting with statements like “Pakistan’s foes must be tried for treason“)

And here is the latest on the 48-hour ultimatum PML-N gave PPP on the Brig. Imtiaz affair: In only 24 hours they have found the ultimatum “counter productive”. Already Ahsan Iqbal has forgotten about the “48 hours” and is now talking “in time. And also don’t hold your breath that PML-N will follow through with their new strategy that “we will expose govt’s ‘misdeeds'” instead.

Of course I knew the showdown was off when I saw PML-N playing kissy-kissy with PPP on all talkshows last night. Specially disappointing was watching Javed Hashmi of PML-N joining hands with PPP’s Kaira and taking a lead in attacking Ghulam Mustafa Khar instead of the other way around.

What gall PML-N has…What scumbags…What EUNUCHS!

UPDATE: Surprise! Surprise! The 48-Hour Ultimatum has been withdrawn officially at the passing of the 48 hours 🙂

Regarding Mush and Abdalla, here is a comment I had posted elsewhere:

Rauf Klasra — Gullible Fool or Bad Liar?

An Open Letter to Rauf Klasra

Dear Mr Klasra,

This is in reference to your article titled “How a jilted Karachi woman saved Pak N-programme” that appeared in the daily The News on May 28, 2009. I say it is a complete and total fabrication put out by you to bring out that bustard Brig Billa back into the limelight and present that lowest of lowlifes as a hero of sorts.

The story you weaved is certainly hilarious. I must admit the first time I read it I paid no attention to it as I found it worth of being thrown in the trash bin. Having been out of the country for years before and after the events you mentioned, I certainly was unfamiliar with the events of those days and had no clue who this character Brig Imtiaz was. Well we are way past that now and your intentions have become clearer, thanks to, the site you plan on suing. I certainly hope you WILL go through with that.

Musharraf’s Ghost II: PML-N — Rotten to the Core

As stated earlier, PML-N had found it’s minister guilty of misconduct but had decided to let it slide. It is now confirmed and Ch. Ghafoor is to be let off with a warning, instead of loosing his ministership and going to jail. The excuse used by Shehbaz? It’s all media’s fault.

Here is the latest news that surprised me some:

SC rejects appeal of ex-PML-N legislators
By our correspondent

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday rejected an appeal filed by the PML-N former legislators, seeking an interim relief in a review petition in the SC storming case and allowing them to contest the election from NA 55 Rawalpindi.

A five-member bench of the apex court, comprising Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Muhammad Moosa K Leghari, Justice Sheikh Hakim Ali and Justice Ghulam Rabbani, was hearing an appeal filed by Sardar Nasim and Chaudhry Tanvir.

They had filed an appeal in the Supreme Court seeking an interim relief in the review petition in the SC storming case for contesting election from NA 55 Rawalpindi. The apex court rejected their appeal, saying that they could not be provided interim relief on technical ground. The court directed them to first file an appeal with the returning officer (RO) in this regard. In 2000, the Supreme Court had convicted seven persons, including former MNAs Mian Munir Ahmed, Tariq Aziz and former provincial minister Akhtar Rasool, Shahbaz Goshi and three former MPAs Akhtar Mehmood, Sardar Muhammad Naseem and Chaudhry Tanvir Ahmad, on charges of contempt of court and ruled that they were unable to take part in the elections because of their conviction. After their conviction for storming the apex court, they had filed a review petition which is pending before the court.

What I find interesting is that does PML-N have no better people to run for the seat? You know and I know they are convicts — guilty of a major crime that I would say laid the foundation for Musharraf to take the Nov 3 steps. To think that a party cannot come up with better candidates is utterly shameful and speaks volumes about it’s culture.

Musharraf’s Ghost: PML-N Gets in Bed with PPP/MQM

With every passing day we see PML-N trying hard to become more and more like PPP/MQM. Of course today is no different. Below are some of the latest actions by PML-N that make it seem it has no identity of it’s own any more:

#1: PML-N and Hafiz Saeed Release:

As reported earlier, Jamatud Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed was released earlier this week by Lahore High Court (LHC) observing “he government has no sufficient grounds to detain the petitioners for preventive measures.” This alone shows the government had no evidence against him and his arrest was just admittedly a “preemptive strike” without any grounds.

Get Ready to Give Your Pound of Flesh: “No Power or Expensive Power”

Declaring “the days of cheaper electricity had gone” and once again using “we doing away with subsidies” (they were taken care of last year) as an excuse, the electricity tariffs are going up, Up, UP…..

Of course the real reason for the increase is also stated in the news item:

…the government has made commitments with the multilateral creditors such as the IMF, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank…

PML-N to PPP: “Please Go Pee for Us”

Instead of filing a case against Musharraf themselves, PML-N is asking PPP once again to do it for them. Am I to believe PML-N collectively has no lawyers?

This really is pathetic but business-as-usual for PML-N. How many times have we heard from their spokesman Ahsan Iqbal asking PPP to file a resolution for repeal of 17th Amendment or for removal of 58-2 B? How many deadlines have passed for that and yet no action by PML-N.

What I find laughable is that the main thing they are asking PPP to do now is to file a case against Musharraf for the murder of Benazir Bhutto while forgetting the repeated rape and murder — proven of course — of the Constitution. In fact their in-action — not filing a resolution themselves and working with the government with all those changes in constitution in place — is tantamount to becoming the very accomplices of those acts of Musharraf.

What’s with PML-N and Rape?

Yesterday reports came out about PML-N MNA Zahid Hussain providing shelter to rapists and today we have a PML-N MPA — Munawar Ali Gill — himself accused of raping a lady.

It was only a month ago that PML-N’s Malik Usman had raped and murdered a 12-year old girl. He is being backed and another PML-N MNA Rana Zahid came to his rescue. What is interesting is the statement offered in defense of Mr. Usman by Dr Sagheer, he MS of the Arifwala THQ Hospital. He

claimed that some individuals were politicising the issue because they did not get PML-N tickets in the previous elections. He said Kiran had relations with Usman and died due to a mistreated abortion.

Ah, so we can be certain the guy was at least screwing a 12-year old. That sure makes it OK in PML-N’s book, I guess…

P.S. Geo is reporting the perpetrator of the latest rape Mr. Munawar has stepped down as MPA. Of course we all know the resignation was demanded and accepted not on moral grounds but political….
