Was it SMQ or was it Qasuri involved in Aafia siddiqi’s case ? How can Imran even think to accept such traitorous people in his party is beyond me ? BTW nota are you familiar with new finding in Aafia’s case http://pkpolitics.com/discuss/topic/aafia-siddiqui-diagnosed-with-cervical-cancer-fear-of-multiple-sexual-abuse

I am sure it was Kasuri….but it is irrelevant in the sense that SMQ too would have done the same (and as FM he never brought it up with Hillary) and both are in PTI now.

Watch this little clip of Imran trying to spin it…

(Says he never bothered to ask Kasuri about the Aafia issue, and when pushed, says it is “irrelevant!” 🙂

as a trainee oncologist i can assure you that the link between cervical cancer and sexual abuse has never been confirmed by any research in a peer reviewed medical journal, so while Dr.Aafia’s case indicates human right abuses and even intra governmental conspiracy, lets not indulge in pseudoscience.

Well, would Imran shoot drones as he has promised or would he blame nawaz for that (which as we know will renege on his promises ) remains to be seen.
BTW, If I remember correctly Hamid khan(PTI candidate from na-125) fought a case for malik riaz (land grabber). With Shafat Mahmood, Pervaiz Khattak, Azam Swati he will surely make Pakistan naya. Also cant forget Arif Alvi with his obnoxious defense of Afia’s prison sentence.

“would Imran shoot drones as he has promised”
LOL! You didn’t believe him, now did you??

Talking about “naya Pakistan”, you mention Hamid Khan’s defense of Malik Riaz…which makes me think you might have missed the news about one of Lahore’s top land grabbers (Aleem Khan) was elected PTI Lahore President (I believe the newly elected VP too has several murder cases against him).

About Aleem Khan almost nobody in Lahore forgets, I remember him due to his huge posters and banners on Ferozepur road in 2008 election when this lota was in Q league. I think we both know about the deal in this election which was to give Aleem Khan ticket from NA-122 which Imran lost to Ayaz Sadiq. Also there is a Ijaz Khan Jazi which was PTI candidate in Rawalpindi who is a known extortionist (Although I can’t confirm). There is also Mian Aslam Iqbal who is known to be involved in gambling business as is his brother among other ‘side businesses’ 🙂 I also know from a credible source that former mayor Mian Amir Mahmood put so much money on this ‘horse’ that he was spending around 16 crore per day on his offices.

But who cares, if the dollar-khor generals (specially Kiyani) had an iota of shame and humanity they would be willing to stand to the real master. Interestingly among those who write about army controlling politicians most forget the real master behind it all (As you rightly pointed to Shirazi on pkpolitics as the ‘elephant in the room’).

Also from todays tribune Ihsanullah Ihsan is willing to negotiate a ceasefire with a new government. What do you make of it?

Come to think of it, isn’t it true In Pakistani politics that candidates are just horses on which investors invest and they just repay them by giving them favors when they are elected.
Also I think one of the biggest flaws of democracy in our country is that even if a common man like Jamshed Dasti breaks the rule of feudals being elected by living among a common man and is heralded as a big success, what qualfications (not literal) do they bring with them to run the country ?
I think honest bureaucrats can run a country quite better than this faux system in which people are supposed to re-elect or reject candidates according to their performance in the five year term. Also it is the most expensive system of government(due to election adeverts) in the world.
